Workin it

I just put this "tips jar" together and I totally love it. I'm even using it as a color choice aid.

I have started on a granny square afghan using the colors that are in the jar and can adjust the over all color of the project by the ratio of color I have collected from keeping the ends. So far it's working like a dream. Plus it's so cute! It makes me smile when I use it.

Yea crochet!

Grandaddy Lake

My husband and both brothers in-law are headed out on their annual hike up to Grand Daddy Lake located in the high Uintahs! This year they are taking my Hayden and Melissa's Adam.

Have a blast and be safe!

Granny squares

Yea! I'm sewing up the last row on this afghan / rug I'm making for my son. It's a sort of camouflage stained glass style.

Last summer when my sisters and I took our annual back to our roots holiday I was given a nice piece if needlework.

Thanks Aunt Frances! I enjoy wondering about the person who must have lovingly created this little piece of history.

Isn't this beautiful? One of my sisters created this for me several years ago. It has a very lovely set of terot cards wrapped inside of it and has it's own custom bag.
